The airport is located just off highway 141 and highway 400 (hwy 69), just outside of Parry Sound, surrounded by the Township of Sequin and the Township of Parry Sound.

Parry Sound Area Municipal Airport is a popular re-fueling destination for: Air Ambulance; Hydro One Helicopters; Ontario Provincial Police; Search and Rescue.

We have a commission of 6 people who have been appointed by our supporting municipalities.  These 6 members are the voice of the airport and all things related.

In the past  two years a multi-million dollar expansion has been under gone.  The funds for this included $2 million in private investments.  One of the expansions was to our terminal making it larger and more welcoming.  There are 16 privately owned hangars on-site as well as a fully operational machine shop which runs 7 days a week.

On the airport property there are 9 businesses operating.  These businesses are Found Aircraft; AXT Machine and Tool;  Lawrence Aero; Power Products; B.P. Flight Training; Pro Safe Fire Training Systems;Project X and Wings Airport Café.
